On July, 1647 Masaniello was assassinated in a very conspiracy and his head was carried in triumph from the streets of Naples. Masaniello was the son of Lorenzo d’Amalfi and Antonia Gargano of Atrani, when he was a toddler he played in the streets of Casa Gargano near the church of Saint Maria
